About
I’m Guy Bryant — author, diver, and photographer — with a lifelong fascination for water, light, and the stories hidden between them. My work spans underwater springs, cave systems, and the landscapes and cultures I encounter while traveling. Whether I’m exploring a limestone passage in Florida, drifting over a South Pacific reef, or hiking to a quiet sinkhole before sunrise, I’m drawn to the places most people rarely see and the moments when light transforms them.
As a cave diver, I’ve spent decades documenting submerged passages and the geology that shapes them. That same curiosity fuels my photography on land and at sea — from detailed, light-painted scenes to wide, atmospheric views. My books and galleries reflect a hands-on approach to exploration: careful planning, patient lighting, and the joy of bringing back images that feel true to the experience of being there.
When I’m not underwater, you’ll often find me refining gear, building creative lighting setups, or sharing stories and practical tips with other divers and photographers. Thanks for visiting — I hope the images and writing across this site inspire your own sense of exploration, and maybe even lead you toward your next adventure.
